About this role

Full-Time Nanny – 40 Hours/Week (Darien, CT)
We are a warm, busy family seeking a reliable, energetic, and experienced full-time nanny to care for our two children: a 3-month-old (Sept 2025) and a 3.5-year-old (May 2022).

Schedule & Hours

Guaranteed 40 hours/week
General schedule: 9:30am–5:30pm (Mon–Fri)
Weekly schedule may vary slightly (e.g., 10–6, 9–5); reviewed and aligned each week
A few times per year (approx. 8–10 trips), extended hours 9am–7:30pm while mom travels for work
Occasional overnights and travel preferred but not required
Flexibility for occasional doctor’s appointments appreciated

Responsibilities

Full care for infant and preschooler
Plan and engage in educational and developmental activities (home + local outings)
Drive children to activities and appointments
Prepare children’s meals (primarily lunch; occasional dinner prep support)
Light child-related housekeeping: tidying play areas, kids’ laundry, etc.
Bathing and dressing

Family & Home

Both parents work from home (mom 3–4 days/week, dad 1 day/week)
Strong extended family support nearby

Ideal Candidate

Experience with infants + toddlers
Clean driving record and reliable car for transporting children
First aid/CPR certified (or willing to become certified)
Background in early childhood development is a plus
