Full-Time Nanny — Darien, CT

A warm, active family in Darien is seeking a reliable, engaging nanny to care for their two young children (ages 3 and 5). The ideal candidate brings energy, structure, and a passion for developmental play. The family values communication, creativity, and someone who can maintain a smooth daily routine while supporting age-appropriate learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide attentive, nurturing childcare in a safe and stimulating environment
• Plan and lead age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities
• Preschool drop-off and pick-up (family provides car)
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children
• Organize play spaces and manage children's laundry
• Maintain consistent daily routines including naps, snacks, activities, and transitions
• Communicate clearly with parents about daily updates

SCHEDULE:
• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (45–47 hours/week)
• Occasional date-night availability preferred but not required

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• 3+ years of professional childcare or nanny experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with toddlers and preschoolers
• Active, patient, proactive, and dependable
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to complete)
• Clean driving record

COMPENSATION:
• $28–$35 per hour depending on experience
• Guaranteed hours
• Paid holidays, vacation time, and sick days
