🧠 About the Role

KikiCare is seeking a Part-Time Placement Specialist to manage nanny placements for families in Fairfield County, CT. This is a fully remote, outcome-based role where you’ll own the placement process end-to-end — with strong operational support from KikiCare.

KikiCare handles family intake and lead generation. Placement Specialists are responsible for sourcing, screening, coordinating, and closing high-quality nanny placements.

This role is ideal for someone with strong communication, organization, and judgment — especially a former corporate professional looking for flexible, meaningful part-time work.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Own assigned family placement cases end-to-end, managing each placement from intake through successful nanny start
• Create, publish, and manage job postings across Indeed and other KikiCare-approved sourcing channels
• Review, screen, and filter applicant resumes to identify qualified nanny candidates aligned with family needs
• Conduct initial nanny screenings via phone or video to assess experience, fit, availability, and professionalism
• Perform thorough reference checks for shortlisted candidates to validate experience and reliability
• Facilitate background checks using KikiCare’s approved background-check solution and processes
• Present vetted candidate shortlists to families using KikiCare-provided communication tools and email templates
• Coordinate and schedule virtual interviews between families and selected nanny candidates
• Collect, synthesize, and incorporate family feedback following interviews to guide next-step decisions
• Coordinate paid trial days for top candidates and gather post-trial feedback from both parties
• Support offer negotiations and hiring decisions, helping families navigate compensation, benefits, and role expectations
• Guide families through nanny agreement setup using KikiCare-provided contract templates, including:
  
  • Customizing role responsibilities and schedules
  • Negotiating salary, holidays, PTO, and benefits
• Support nanny onboarding and start-date coordination to ensure a smooth transition and positive experience for both family and nanny

• Experience in recruiting, HR, operations, project management, or childcare placement is a plus
